How do I take good care of my new plates?
Thank you for purchasing our work! Hand washing is best, but all dinnerware is microwave and dishwasher safe. We recommend using environmentally-friendly detergents. The dinnerware is not safe for use in the oven or freezer and please avoid temperature shock.
What about the un-glazed raw clay?
Dry them promptly after washing. Unglazed clay is porous, so you should not leave these items soaking in water for long periods of time. If stains develop you can lightly scrub the areas with a mixture of baking soda and water.
Will the coarse clay scratch my table?
All bottoms are sanded smooth to protect your tabletops from scratching.
Will all of my plates look the same?
Due to the hand-thrown nature of our ceramics no two items are exactly alike. The unique piece you will receive may differ slightly from what's pictured. Variations in glaze color, size, and finish are to be expected.
An item is listed as SOLD OUT. Can I reserve one?
In fairness to everyone, we don't reserve items. The best way to find out about future shop updates is to join our newsletter or follow us on Instagram @eraceramics.
When do you ship?
Purchases will be shipped within 3 business days via USPS or UPS.
Can I return or exchange?
Returns are on a case by case basis. We stand by our products and we want you to be happy with your purchase. If there is a problem with your order, please email us within 48 hours of receiving it at email@example.com. Unfortunately, due to the limited number produced we cannot guarantee availability for exchanges.
Tracking says "Delivered", but my package is missing.
On the very rare occasion that a package does not show up, please check with your local Post Office. Priority Mail comes insured by the USPS, and they are liable for misdelivered or stolen property in most cases. We know it’s a terrible feeling, but unfortunately we cannot reimburse orders that were misdelivered by the post office or stolen from your property.
Do you ship to other countries?
For the moment we only ship within the United States. International buyers can find some of our dinnerware at Bon Ceramics.
What if I'm in Bulgaria?
We may make an exception.
Who makes it all?
The two of us design and make everything in our studio in Smithville, TX. Each piece is hand-thrown on the wheel, glazed and fired by Lindsey, while Dimi is a studio hand, photographer, and all in all, creative director. You can typically find us in our studio between the hours of 8pm and 2am :)
So, it's just like in the movie Ghost?
Yep, just like that!
I have so many questions.
We're here to answer them! firstname.lastname@example.org
